Drew Estate has announced the Liga Privada Unico Serie Porchetta, an exclusive offering for Casa de Montecristo.

Porchetta is a fatty and moist Italian roasted port dish. Blendwise, the Liga Privada Unico Serie Porchetta consists of a Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut and Cured Habano wrapper over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and a mix of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigar comes in one size – a 6 x 46 box-pressed belicoso. The cigars are presented in 20-count boxes. Pricing is set at $19.25 SRP/cigar.

In a press release, Jonathan Drew, Founder and President of Drew Estate, commented, “Porchetta is a meaty, in-your-face, turbulent journey of flavor and aroma. It’s hard-hitting, yet smooth and meat-lovin-calculated at the very same time … kinda like a Larry Holmes jab to the dome … it’s not meant to knock you out. But damn, that was the thing about Holmes in his heyday … he could literally knock you out with a couple of jabs. Nobody should get knocked out with a jab, really. This Porchetta is like a miniature Larry Holmes. My dad was a huge Larry Holmes fan, for the record.”

The Liga Privada Unico Serie is a series of cigars that feature a unique blend in a different size. All of the cigars in the series are limited and small batch in production. Some of the releases are more limited than others.  The cigars are not only limited in terms of production, but, in some cases, have been regional, shop-exclusive, or event-only cigars. Many of the Unico Serie cigars have some ties to the Liga Privada No. 9 or Liga Privada T52 in terms of the tobaccos used.

The following is a list of the Liga Privada Unico Serie offerings.
