At the Total Product Expo (TPE) 2024, JRE Tobacco Co. will launch the Aladino Candela Toro. This is a limited offering and it marks the second time JRE Tobacco Co. has nationally released an Aladino Candela. Last year the company soft-launched the limited edition Aladino Candela Robusto.
Candela is a tobacco that is widely associated with company patriarch Julio R. Eiroa. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, the candela wrapper was the dominant wrapper in the industry, and Eiroa was the largest grower of that wrapper.
The Aladino Candela features 100% Honduran-grown tobacco from the JRE Tobacco Farm in the Jamastran Valley. The Toro measures 50 x 6 and is being sold in 20-count red-colored boxes. Production comes from Fabrica de Puros Aladino at Las Lomas Jamastran.
Pricing is set at $10.50. JRE Tobacco Co. says the Aladino Candela Toro will ship immediately following TPE 2024. TPE 2024 opens in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 31, 2024.
