PCA 2024 Sancho Panza

This year, Sancho Panza was one of the featured brands at the General Cigar Booth at the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. It was two years ago when General Cigar relaunched the Sancho Panza brand. The brand was given new blends and a new image thanks to the collective efforts of Matt Booth and Justin Andrews. Since then, Sancho Panza has continued to grow – releasing a limited edition and even a TAA cigar. Matt and Justin were at PCA this year, launching the fourth regular production line under Sancho Panza – the Sancho Panza Extra Chido. What’s different about this cigar is that it is the first Sancho Panza cigar produced out of General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic.

The Sancho Panza Extra Chido stays within the core price point, as the three vitolas come in under ten dollars. The blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that Justin Andrews and Matt Booth developed. The remainder of the blend uses a Nicaraguan binder and fillers that include Nicaraguan ASP and tercio-aged Dominican Piloto. Sancho Panza Extra Chido is presented in three sizes (Robusto, Toro, and Gigante) packaged in 20-count boxes.
