The Cigar Week Wrap is a one stop place to catch up on the activity here at Cigar Coop. It is a combination of our news reports, cigar reviews, and assessment updates we do throughout the week. We will throw in a few bonus items from time to time as well. Our intent is to publish once a week on Saturday mornings. Note: We have decided to label our posts as “Volume 2” to be consistent with the monthly “Editor’s Corner”.
- Camacho: Showed off the packaging for the upcoming Ditka 99 cigar.
- Compania de Siembra Hojas de Tradicion: This new Dominican-based farming and leaf operations company was formed as a partnership with Terry Johnson, Luis Sanchez, and Juan Francisco “Pancho” Reinoso.
- Kristoff: Company president Glen Case was a guest on the 10/19/13 Cigar Authority Show and indicated that Kristoff could once a year release a small batch – similar to the recently released Kristoff 685 Woodlawn.
- RoMa Craft Tobac: On Episode 70 of Stogie Geeks, Skip Martin gave us a preview into some projects for 2014.
- Tatuaje: Pete Johnson posted a photo of a prototype of the L’Espirt de Verite 2010.
- Viaje: Announced details on the Viaje Full Moon 2013. The company is also shipping the Skull and Bones M?stery 2013 – the ninth batch of the series to be released.
- Villiger Cigars, NA: Named Fabian Barrantes, Director of Marketing. Last week, we noted that Barrantes was leaving his position at Boutique Blends.
Legislative News
- FDA: The process to regulate Premium Cigars has been transferred to the Office of Management and Budget. Three new co-sponsors were added this week bringing the count. total of 128 co-sponsors (129 total sponsors).
- Sosa Cigars in Downtown Disney: Disney has informed Sosa Cigars that their lead will not be renewed. Sosa is one of the great American smoke shops in the country. There is a petition floating around to sign.

Episode 70 was our special Friday afternoon Wings for Warrors Charity special. Our special guests were Skip Martin and Michael Rosales of RoMa Craft Tobac. We were given some insights into the company and a glimpse into the company’s 2014 plans.
