Over the years, United Cigars’ Firecracker Series has become one of the more popular limited edition series in the industry. The Firecracker is a 3 1/2 x 50 vitola featuring a long fuse resembling a firecracker. The series has seen nine manufacturers selected to make the cigar. Over the years, the series gained notoriety as an exclusive to Two Guys Smoke Shop and has in recent years been made more widely available through United Cigars’ distribution channel. Around July 4th, a new Firecracker release for the year is announced. In 2020, it was the Perdomo Firecracker that was released just in time for July 4th. However this year, United Cigars has announced a second manufacturer will partner to create a new Firecracker. It’s been done in conjunction with HVC Cigars, and it’s called the HVC Black Friday Firecracker. This cigar is slated to ship to United Cigar retailers beginning November 11th.

“This is a very special year for the United Firecracker,” explains Oliver Nivaud of United Cigars in a press release. “We had an opportunity to work with Reinier on this and jumped at the opportunity.”

HVC Cigars Founder, Reinier Lorenzo said, “I smoked the United Firecracker and had the perfect blend in mind that was perfect for this unique vitola.”

The HVC Black Friday Firecracker is described as a fuller-bodied blend with the balance of a larger vitola. Production is handled out of the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) factory in Estelí. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano Café wrapper over Aganorsa-farm-grown binder and fillers. The cigars will be presented in 20-count boxes. Pricing is set at $150.00 per box or $7.50 per cigar. The total production is 500 boxes.

Shipping of the HVC Black Friday Firecracker is scheduled for November 11, 2020.
