- Davidoff: The company announced the Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Petit Panetela as a limited edition. It will not be available in the U.S.
- Blackbird Cigars: The company is making Cardinal a shop exclusive for Zeal Cigars
- Cavalier Genève: The Black II Lancero is heading to retailers.
- Crowned Heads: The company announced the Headley Grange Chamuco LE2019
- Florida Sun Grown Tobacco Farm: Announced the Florida Department of Agriculture has provided them a “Fresh from Florida” Logo to use for FSG Tobacco
- Fratello Cigars: The company announced the Fratello Esclusivo Connecticut Shop Exclusive.
- VegaFina: The brand announced the VegaFina Year of the Rat.
- Viaje: The Viaje Holiday Blend 2019 and a trio of New Skull & Bones Releases are heading to retailers this month.
Legislative News
- U.S. Senate: S.9 is a proposed piece of legislation that calls for an exemption from FDA Regulation for premium handmade cigars. This week no new co-sponsors were added. The total number of sponsors remains at 15.
- U.S. House of Representatives: H.R.1854 is the House Companion Bill to S.9. This week one new co-sponsor Rep Bradley Byrne [R-Alabama] was added. The total number of sponsors now is at 84.
- Pennsylvania: The Philadelphia City Council has passed a flavored tobacco ban. The bill is now going to Mayor Jim Kenney for signature.
