Feature of the Week: House Freedom Caucus Recommens Revoking FDA Regulations on Premium Cigars

This week Congressman Mark Meadows, Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus sed a meeting with President Elect Donald Trump to present to him a list of 232 regulations that could be revoked in Trump’s first 100 days in office. One of the proposed regulations to be revoked were the “Deeming tobacco products to be subject to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act” – which include the FDA Regulations on Premium Cigars. While many cigar enthusiasts are certainly excited, it is important to know that other than the recommendation, no decision has been made as of yet.
