The Smoking Syndicate
We are formally announcing what is to be the fifth brand in the Cigar Coop media family, The Smoking Syndicate. The Smoking Syndicate is a weekly video review brand that will have guests including the Cigar Coop team. The show features video reviews, group reviews, cigars of the week/month, and more. The video content will be available on various platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Odysee, and Podbean. Ben Lee, who joined the Cigar Coop team last month, will be the primary host and lead for this new brand. We’ve got more details here.

- House of Representatives: HR 3982 is a proposed piece of legislation that calls for an exemption from FDA Regulation for premium handmade cigars. This week Stephanie Murphy [D-FL], Doug Lamborn [R-CO], Ken Buck [R-CO], Andy Biggs [R-AZ], Brian Mast [R-FL], Thomas Massie [R-KY], Michael Turner [R-OH], and Charlie Crist [D-FL] signed on as co-sponsors. The total number of sponsors is now at 12.
- U.S. Senate: S.438 is a proposed piece of legislation that calls for an exemption from FDA Regulation for premium handmade cigars. This week no new co-sponsors were added. The total number of sponsors remains at nine.
