Joshua Harbursky Officially Named PCA Executive Director
The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has removed the interim tag from Joshua Harbursky and has named him the new Executive Director. We have details here.
STG Acquires Mac Baren
In a major acquisition, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) has acquired Mac Baren. While Mac Baren is known for pipe tobacco, it owns Sutliff Tobacco, which handles distribution for several boutique cigar companies. We have the details here.
Supreme Court Strikes Down Chevron Deference Curtailing the Power of Federal Agencies
In a landmark ruling, the United States Supreme Court has struck down the Chevron Deference. With this ruling, the Supreme Court has cut back sharply on the power of federal agencies to interpret the laws they administer. We’ve got the details here.
